Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026

This in-app summary accompanies the complete Neon Melon Privacy Policy, which controls if the two differ.

This Privacy Policy explains how Neon Melon, operated by Casey Fox (“Neon Melon,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use Neon Melon Web Studio, Desktop Studio, and related account services.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide and protect your account, including your email address, display name, authentication provider identifier, account and trial dates, membership entitlement, feature usage totals, and device-link records. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information you authorize Google to share.

Your media and projects

Web Studio media processing occurs in your browser. Images, video, and audio you select for Web Studio are not uploaded to Neon Melon’s servers merely for editing or exporting. Project files you intentionally save or move to another service are handled according to your choice and that service’s terms. Desktop Studio processes user-selected media locally on your device.

How we use information

  • Provide authentication, exports, trials, memberships, and feature access.
  • Maintain pooled usage limits across supported Neon Melon platforms.
  • Connect eligible Skool membership records to a Neon Melon account.
  • Secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
  • Send account, verification, security, and service-related messages.

Anonymous feedback

If you use the Feedback control, we store the category and message you submit, the Web Studio page and workspace where you submitted it, the app version, and broad device and browser labels. We do not attach your Neon Melon account, name, email address, IP address, or full browser user-agent to a feedback entry. We use feedback to identify problems, rank requested features, and improve Neon Melon. Please do not include personal information in your message.

Service providers

We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, Cloudflare for hosting and account data infrastructure, Google when you choose Google sign-in, Stripe for optional paid-plan billing, Skool for included community access when eligible, and Meta for the analytics and advertising measurement described below. Skool does not process Neon Melon subscription payments. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and our configurations.

Meta Pixel and analytics

If you select Allow analytics, Web Studio loads the Meta Pixel to measure visits, understand whether advertising leads people to Neon Melon, and improve our marketing. The Pixel records a PageView event and may allow Meta to receive information such as the page URL, visit time, referring page, IP address, browser or device information, and cookie or similar identifiers. Meta may use this information according to its own Privacy Policy.

We do not intentionally send the contents of media you edit, project files, or text entered into creation tools to Meta through the Pixel. We currently send PageView and ViewContent events for landing-page visit measurement.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, preserve application state, prevent abuse, and provide requested features. We do not load the Meta Pixel until you select Allow analytics. You can change your selection using the Privacy choices control, and we treat an enabled Global Privacy Control signal as Essential only. You can also limit tracking through browser cookie controls, tracking protection, an ad blocker, or your Meta advertising preferences. Choosing Essential only does not prevent you from using Neon Melon’s creation tools. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We retain account and entitlement records while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, legal, billing, and operational purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your Neon Melon account information by contacting us. Deleting an account may not immediately remove records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Children

Neon Melon is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to use the Services or provide consent under applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as Neon Melon develops. The effective date above will identify the current version.
