Terms of Service

This in-app summary accompanies the complete Neon Melon Terms of Service, which control if the two differ.

These Terms govern your use of Neon Melon, operated by Casey Fox, including Web Studio, Desktop Studio, account services, and related features. By using Neon Melon, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or otherwise legally able to agree to these Terms.

Free plan, trial, and memberships

A Neon Melon account may begin a 7-day full-feature trial with the first successful export, including 200 automatic-combination exports total. No payment card is required. Unless you separately choose a paid membership, the account continues on the Free plan when the trial ends and nothing is charged. Optional paid memberships are purchased and managed securely through Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s payment-processing terms. Eligible paid members may receive access to the Neon Melon Skool community as an included benefit; Skool does not process Neon Melon subscription payments. Features and reasonable usage limits may vary by plan.

Your content

You retain ownership of media and content you provide. You grant Neon Melon only the limited permission necessary to process your content and provide features you request. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for your media, music, fonts, trademarks, and exported content.

Permitted use

Neon Melon gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service according to your plan. You may not misuse the service, bypass access controls or usage limits, interfere with security, distribute malware, violate another person’s rights, or use Neon Melon for unlawful activity.

Desktop software

Desktop Studio may access files and folders only as directed by you and may use local processing tools such as FFmpeg. You are responsible for backups of source files and exported work. Do not interrupt an active export unless you accept the risk that its current output may be incomplete.

Service changes and availability

We may improve, add, remove, or modify features and limits. We work to keep Neon Melon available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Preview, beta, or developing features may change and should not be your only copy of important work.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Neon Melon is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Neon Melon and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost content, profits, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited only to the extent the law requires.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, abuse, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. You may stop using Neon Melon at any time. Provisions that reasonably should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
